Last Friday I was waiting for a bus at the bus stop. At that time I saw an old man walking along the pavement. He was carrying a bag. At once he stopped right opposite the bus stop. He looked both ways carefully. As there were no vehicles coming, he started to cross the road. He was coming towards the bus stop. I so a car coming at a distance. I thought he would cross the road in time. But in the middle of the road, his bag fell from his hand. Then he stopped to pick the bag up. He didn't see the car coming. The driver of the car did not expect the man to stop in the middle of the road. He applied the brakes but he could not stop the car. It hit the old man. He was thrown away. I ran to the scene. He was in a pool of blood. I called for an ambulance. It came in no time and took the old injured man to the hospital. After sometime, a policeman came to the place. I told him how the accident happened. The driver of the car was arrested by the police. Just then my bus came. I came home by that.

A good student
A good student should be working hard as it is difficult to achieve academic
success without effort. Gaining success is not easy and those who are not
willing to face academic challenges and do not have a passion for working hard
will never achieve their goals and succeed in their life. A good student should
also be active in the community. He should be appreciated not only because of
his academic success but also for his social activities. A good person is usually
judged not only by what he is doing for himself, but also by what he is
doing to his community. A good student should have good
communication skills so that he can communicate easily with teachers and
students around him. This will make his school life fun and increase his
confidence. A good student should also be well prepared for the future.
Although students are thought to have ambition, these ambitions cannot come
true if they do not know how to turn their dreams into reality. Students should be
practical and realistic as life is not always fair with everyone. They should
understand that every step to success takes time and patience.

My ambition
Everybody have ambitions. My ambition is to serve my country. That is my
only ambition. Therefore, I want to become a teacher. Teacher is a person who
builds the nation. I will teach the poor children without any charge. I would
teach them the subjects with real and deep information. I would give my students the
best education. I would try to make them good citizens. A positive or negative
influence from a teacher early in life has a great effect on the life of a child.
Teachers especially at the elementary level must be very creative with their
teaching styles. Not every child learns the same way, nor are they interested in
the same things. Teachers are known to be the second parents. Parents provide
us moral education and teachers provide us the rest of knowledge necessary for
living and knowing the world. The gurus of ancient era are now addressed by
‘sir’ or the last name. The child’s relationship with the teacher determines the
grades and academics of the student. If my ambition is fulfilled, I shall do my
best as a teacher. I am working hard so that I may get the best grades. It would
help me in getting admission to a good University. I would always be honest
and hard working. I want to be an ideal teacher.

My hobby
There are many activities that I like to do. They keep me happy and engaged. Out of those, my favourite is writing poems. I enjoy writing as it keeps my mind and thoughts calm and happy. Every time I feel dull and bored, I sit down somewhere with a piece of paper and a pen. Then I think of an interesting topic. Sometimes it is about something in the environment and sometimes it is one of my experiences. Then I start to jot down my feelings. I keep on writing until my feelings take the shape of a poem. Sometimes there is a smooth flow of words and sometimes it takes time to shape up my feelings. However, writing gives me an endless satisfaction.

Uses of libraries
Libraries have many uses. They provide different books to people. These books provide different information on different subjects. It is true that libraries are necessary for educational, social and national progress. They are storehouses of knowledge where we can find all kinds of information and ideas. A library provides all sorts of books on different subjects. We also can read many books on the same subject by various writers. Thus for reading the ideas of different writers on the same subject or for comparing their ideas, the library is the best place. A library provides different newspapers in different languages. This enables us to be in touch with what happens in society. Modern libraries now provide videocassettes and films on art and science. We can sit there for hours without being disturbed by any noise or talking. We can say that libraries are useful for everyone. Therefore, libraries are beneficial for our progress.

What are good habits?
Good habits are practices that help us to lead a good life. For example getting
up early and starting work with a fresh mind is a good habit. Saying “Thank
You” when we want to show our gratitude and saying “sorry” to express our
regret for a wrong action done are also good habits. There are good health habits
such as washing our hands before meals and brushing our teeth twice a day. We
must inculcate good habits like these from our childhood.

Benefits of CBD oil
First off Cannabidiol is a phytocannabinoid found in cannabis plants.
Cannabidiol can be taken into the body in multiple different ways of which
some are: Inhalation of Cannabis smoke or powder, as an aerosol spray into
the cheek, by mouth, ingested capsules and food products, vaporizing,
tinctures, topical cream and as a prescription liquid. Cannabidiol is still under
research so it cannot be stated if it is entirely safe for medical use. But still,
Cannabidiol or CBD oil has been proved beneficial in many cases of which
some are stated below,
Having natural pain relief and anti-inflammatory properties.
People tend to use prescription or over-the-counter drugs to relieve
stiffness and pain, including chronic pain. CBD oil can be considered as
a natural alternative to it.
Quitting smoking and drug withdrawals.
Some promising evidence suggests that CBD use may help people to
quit smoking. A pilot study published in Addictive Behaviors found that
smokers who used inhalers containing CBD smoked fewer cigarettes
than usual and had no further cravings for nicotine. And CBD oil is also
a promising treatment for people with opioid addiction disorders. The
researchers noted that CBD reduced some symptoms associated with
substance use disorders. These included anxiety, mood-related
symptoms, pain, and insomnia.
Epilepsy
After researching the safety and effectiveness of CBD oil for treating
epilepsy, the FDA approved the use of CBD (Epidiolex) as a therapy for
two rare conditions characterized by epileptic seizures in 2018. The
conditions are,
Lennox-Gastaut syndrome (LGS), a condition that appears
between the ages of 3 and 5 years and involves different kinds of
seizures.
Dravet syndrome (DS), a rare genetic condition that appears in
the first year of life and involves frequent, fever-related seizures.
Other neurological symptoms and disorders
It is noted that CBD has anti-seizure properties and a low risk of side
effects for people with epilepsy. Findings suggested that CBD may also
treat many complications linked to epilepsy, such as neurodegeneration,
neuronal injury, and psychiatric diseases. Another study, published in
Current Pharmaceutical Design, found that CBD may produce effects
similar to those of certain antipsychotic drugs and that the compound
may provide a safe and effective treatment for people with
schizophrenia. However, further research is necessary.
Fighting cancer
Some researchers have found that CBD may prove to combat cancer.
Authors of a review published in the British Journal of Clinical
Pharmacology found evidence that CBD significantly helped to prevent
the spread of cancer. The researchers also noted that the compound
tends to suppress the growth of cancer cells and promote their
destruction. They pointed out that CBD has low levels of toxicity. They
called for further research into its potential as an accompaniment to
standard cancer treatments.
Anxiety disorders
Doctors often advise people with chronic anxiety to avoid cannabis as
THC can trigger or amplify feelings of anxiousness and paranoia.
However, authors of a review from Neurotherapeutics found that CBD
may help to reduce anxiety in people with certain related disorders.
According to the review, CBD may reduce anxiety-related behaviours in
people with conditions such as:
❏ Post-traumatic stress disorder
❏ General anxiety disorder
❏ Panic disorder
❏ Social anxiety disorder
❏ Obsessive-compulsive disorder
No further definitive evidence currently links CBD to adverse effects,
and the authors called for further studies of the compound as a
treatment for anxiety.
Type 1 diabetes
Type 1 diabetes results from inflammation that occurs when the immune
system attacks cells in the pancreas. Research published in 2016 by
Clinical Hemorheology and Microcirculation found that CBD may ease
this inflammation in the pancreas. This may be the first step in finding a
CBD-based treatment for type 1 diabetes. A paper presented in the
same year in Lisbon, Portugal, suggested that CBD may reduce
inflammation and protect against or delay the development of type 1
diabetes.
Acne
Acne treatment is another promising use for CBD. The condition is
caused, in part, by inflammation and overworked sebaceous glands in
the body. A 2014 study published by the Journal of Clinical Investigation
found that CBD helps to lower the production of sebum that leads to
acne, partly because of its anti-inflammatory effect on the body. Sebum
is an oily substance, and overproduction can cause acne. CBD could
become a future treatment for acne vulgaris, the most common form of
acne.
Alzheimer's disease
Initial research published in the Journal of Alzheimer's Disease found
that CBD was able to prevent the development of social recognition
deficit in participants. This means that CBD could help people in the
early stages of Alzheimer's to keep the ability to recognize the faces of
people that they know. This is the first evidence that CBD may slow the
progression of Alzheimer's disease.
As you might have noticed in the text above, most of the studies have called
for further research on CBD oil and also the lack of available long-term safety
data compels us to think that CBD oil isn't totally safe for use. The soporific
effects of CBD oil are linked to its concentration; low-concentration oils will
produce minimal effects, while high-concentration oils will produce strong
effects. Furthermore, many small-scale studies have looked into the safety of
CBD in adults. They concluded that adults tend to tolerate a wide range of
doses well. Also, to date, researchers have not performed studies involving
children.
As for the side effects, researchers have found no significant side effects on
the central nervous system, the vital signs, or mood, even among people who
used high dosages. The most common side effect was tiredness. Also, some
people reported diarrhoea and changes in appetite or weight. The patient
information leaflet notes that there is a risk of worsening depression or suicidal
thoughts. It is important to monitor anyone who is using this drug for signs of
mood change. Research suggests that a person taking the product is unlikely
to form a dependency.
In conclusion, There is often a lack of evidence regarding the safety of new or
alternative treatment options. Usually, researchers have not performed the full
array of tests, therefore, anyone who is considering using CBD should talk to a
qualified healthcare practitioner beforehand.
